Care-Ness excellent is our best quality paper in terms of absorption, strength, and softness. Made from 100% virgin paper, these pure pulp products are ideal for quality-conscious customers who expect a lot from their toilet paper, paper towels, or similar disposable paper products.
Classic
Care-Ness classic is our medium-quality paper range made from mixed fibers or high-quality recycled paper. Its white color, reliable absorption, and softness make it well-suited for settings with high paper consumption.

The right choice of paper and dispenser could improve usage. Centerfeed dispensers, for example, often cut 6 to 7 feet of paper per pull – ideal for cleaning surfaces, but wasteful for hand drying. Here, paper towels can be a more efficient option for hand hygiene.

What should you know about your paper?
While we offer many different kinds of paper products, all of them can be categorized into two main types: new paper made from virgin fibers and paper produced from recycled fibers and materials. Although they share many traits, they also have distinct differences.We have aimed to answer some of the most important questions so you can determine what matters most to you before selecting your paper solution.Is recycled paper as absorbent as paper made of virgin fibers?
No. Virgin fibers are longer, which makes them more absorbent and stronger. When paper is recycled, the fibers are cut shorter, decreasing their absorbency. Longer fibers also enhance solubility in toilet paper.
Is recycled paper as soft as paper made of virgin fibers?
The answer to this question is subjective; in theory, the longer fibers in virgin paper should be softer, but some people feel that recycled paper is just as smooth, if not softer.
Can recycled paper also hold certifications?
Yes, recycled paper can also be FSC™-certified, certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, and more. However, because it is harder to verify the exact origins of the materials used, it can be more challenging to obtain certain certifications for recycled paper. In many cases, it is easier to get certifications for paper made from virgin fibers since there is no doubt about the raw materials' origins. As a result, you'll find that a higher percentage of our virgin-fiber products have certifications compared to our recycled products.
Is the paper bleached using chemicals?
Virgin fibers and cellulose are white and don't need bleaching. However, sometimes the glue that binds the fibers is bleached to maintain the white color. Recycled paper can be unbleached, which is usually more brown, or bleached, which looks similar to paper made from virgin fibers. The chemicals used for both types of paper are becoming safer and cleaner as manufacturers become more environmentally conscious.
Is recycled paper more environmentally friendly than paper made from virgin fibers?
Unfortunately, there is no definitive answer to that question. While recycled paper might seem better and more environmentally friendly, it can be hard to determine the exact origins of the recycled material. On the other hand, it is important to reuse materials that have already been produced and processed. Using paper made from virgin fibers makes it easier to trace the raw materials, and certifications like the FSC™ guarantee that the raw material comes from responsibly managed forests. However, it is still a brand-new product being produced. In the end, it’s up to you to determine what is most important.
