Abena Partner MediSens Wireless wins prestigious award

Our partners from MediSens Wireless, developer of the sensor technology behind Abena Nova with MediSens, have been selected as a Red Herring Top 100 North America Winner.
MediSens Wireless announced today it was one of the winners of the 2018 Red Herring Top 100 - North America. This is an award that celebrates the most promising and exciting startup companies in North America based on innovative technology, growth, entrepreneurship and disruptive impact.
“We are very proud of our partnership with MediSens and for being able to produce innovative continence products in cooperation with one of the world’s most innovative technology companies. This recognition is great motivation for the future development of Abena Nova with MediSens,” Dag Winther Svendsen, product manager for Abena Nova with MediSens, commented after the award ceremony.
MediSens Wireless, founded in 2007, has developed the wearable sensor technology behind Abena Nova with MediSens, the world’s first continence product for everyday use, and has an ambition of improving the quality of life for people living with incontinence.

Red Herring stamp of approval for innovative technology
Red Herring Top 100 North America is an annual list of outstanding startups and promising companies. This year, the winners were selected based on a review of applications from 1200 companies.
The winners of the 2018 edition of the Red Herring 100 North America award were selected based on a number of criteria, including technological innovation, management strength, market size, investor record, customer acquisition, and financial health.
