Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production

Disposables are our core business, and they are not currently geared for a circular future. Approaching 2030, we want to minimize our environmental impact and limit waste through a circular economy approach.

Optimized packaging results in  fewer trucks on the roads, saving CO2 emissions. Learn more.

In 2022, ABENA started a pilot project to investigate the reuse of disposable textiles from hospitals to increase circularity and reduce residual waste. Learn more.

Making the responsible choice

CO2 reduction
We aim to reduce our CO2 emissions by 70% in 2030

+25 years with "the Swan"
Our baby diapers were the first in the world to attain the Nordic Swan Ecolabel in 1998.

Waste recycling
In 2022-2023, we recycled an average of 89.51% waste from all our production sites.
