ABENA will participate as part of the business delegation to Germany accompanied by HM The Queen Margrethe of Denmark and HRH The Crown Prince Frederik on November 10-13, 2021. The goal is to strengthen the close ties between the German market and ABENA’s sustainable and innovative digital health care solutions.
ABENA will participate in the visit as part of a large Danish business promotional campaign, which will focus on solutions in the areas of green energy, health, food products, and sustainable production.
During the visit, ABENA’s delegation will primarily focus on promoting innovative health care solutions, including presenting ABENA Nova with MediSens.
“We care about people, our planet, and improving the care of tomorrow. Our business and product range must follow market trends as well as digital developments. We are glad to be here in Germany to continue promoting our vision of sustainability and quality of life,” says CEO of ABENA, Preben Terp-Nielsen, who will be participating in the visit to Germany.
With the current challenges facing the health care sector, It is more important than ever to keep a strong focus on tomorrow’s essential health care needs and to continually challenge the way we approach innovation in health care. With more than 50 years of experience in health care, ABENA has seen this change first-hand.
As the result of visionary minds who dared to reimagine the future of continence care, ABENA Nova is based on innovative sensor technology merged with ABENA’s knowledge and premium incontinence products.
ABENA Nova has already been tested and implemented around the world, including at nursing homes throughout Germany.
ABENA has close ties to Germany and the German market. With our headquarter in Aabenraa, close to the German border, cooperation across the border has existed for decades. ABENA’s subsidiary in Germany, ABENA GMBH, recently celebrated their 30th anniversary.
Germany and Denmark currently have a trade worth 329.6 billion. DKK, which makes Germany Denmark's largest trading partner. About 14% of Denmark's export of goods go to the German market, but according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark, there is still great potential for Danish solutions within climate, energy, health, and food.
