ABENA AB achieves ISCC PLUS certificate

ABENA AB has achieved the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification PLUS (ISCC PLUS). The certificate ensures that customers can trust the products they purchase are produced responsibly, with a focus on environmental protection, social accountability, and transparency.
ABENA’s production facility, ABENA AB, has recently achieved the globally recognized certification ISCC Plus as validation of responsible sourcing of raw materials. ISCC is a globally recognized standard that ensures a responsible production of biomass, biofuels, and other renewable raw materials. The certification guarantees full traceability of the raw materials.
A significant milestone for ABENA and customers
For ABENA’s Swedish production facility, achieving the ISCC PLUS certification means that we can now incorporate certified film into our laminates, which are subsequently converted into bibs, wash cloths, and protective sheets.

The future with ISCC PLUS
The ISCC PLUS certification will assist ABENA AB in effectively manage the environmental impact from production by promoting the use of renewable resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Together with our other environmental certifications, such as FSC and ISO 14001, ISCC PLUS demonstrates a comprehensive approach to sustainability throughout the value chain.
In addition to ABENA AB, ABENA Produktion A/S, manufacturer of ABENA’s incontinence products and baby diapers, is also ISCC Plus certified for SAP.
