What can I do is I experience incontinence after having given birth?
During pregnancy and childbirth, the pelvic floor muscles are strained and stretched due the large amount of pressure on the pelvis. This can cause incontinence.
To avoid and/or treat incontinence after childbirth, it is recommended that you do pelvic floor muscle exercises.
With regular and ambitious training, these exercises can strengthen your muscles so you can regain control of the your pelvic region and urine flow.
If you experience symptoms of incontinence, we recommend being examined by your healthcare practitioner, as different treatment options often exist.
