To treat and prevent skin problems for people with bariatric needs, a Body Wash and Skincare product range has been created, with the purpose of:
- Maintaining personal hygiene,
- Caring for the skin and ensuring the products pH values are safe for their skin condition,
- Offering solutions that are beneficial, terms of cost and time investment.
To achieve the above mentioned, a simple three-step process will be described.
1. Gentle cleaning
- Remove urine, faeces, contaminants- and bacteria from the skin.
- Cleansing products are divided into two types, which are: Wash with water and Wash without water.

- Strengthen skin barrier to prevent skin problems such as dry, cracked, stretched and irritated skin.
- Dehydrated skin can impact skin permeability, increasing the risk ofbacteria entering the skin and resulting in skin problems.
- By keeping the skin hydrated, the skins permeability can decrease, minimising the risks of potential barrier related skin problems.
