Renewable energy certificates (RECs)
It is at our production main production site in Aabenraa, Denmark, that 4 million incontinence products and baby diapers are produced daily.
For each kwH used in our Danish production facility, we invest in renewable energy certificates (RECs). We acknowledge that RECs are not the best way to bringing down CO₂ emission, but we see them as a supplement to our additional energyefficiency projects. At least, until we find the answer to how we replace the certificates with renewable energy.
