Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy

The majority of our CO₂ emissions originates from energy use. Towards 2030, we want to minimize our use of energy, reduce our CO₂ emissions, and change to renewable energy sources across our production and office facilities.

Making the responsible choice

CO2 reduction
We want to help mitigate climate change and reduce our CO₂ emissions throughout our value chain. In 2022-2023, we reduced our CO2 emissions by 5.13%. 

Renewable energy certificates
The energy consumption in our own factories is covered by renewable energy certificates (RECs). We see RECs as a supplement to our additional energy-efficiency projects. At least, until we find the answer to how we replace the certificates with renewable energy.

Investments
In 2022-2023, we invested €1,045,843.46 invested in energy efficiency projects in our own production sites.
